THE PLAN

Power to the bus rider

Power to the bus riderMake service and fare fairer.

When bus and light rail transportation is accessible and affordable, it’s easier to get a job, keep a job and move up in the world. The Plan’s focus on equity means many of the routes used by transit-dependent riders will be protected and expanded. Routes that go to and through Downtown will become more accessible for all, whether they use public transportation every day or just occasionally. This will dramatically reduce congestion (in both traffic and breathing!).
